Welcome to my blog post! Got a few minutes. Grab a cup and take 5 minutes

My life was filled with activities that I used to clear my head and make me feel alive. But, then I found an activity that forces you to face your fears without thinking about it. It helps me regain a sense of self and make me feel like I've accomplished something. This might sound weird, but it's absolutely true.
“To get to the top, you've got to try a little harder and be a little more daring.”
Adventure is a broad term. It can apply to a hike in the mountains, trekking down a canyon, going cross-country skiing, or simply exploring your city on a whim. In this sense, all types of adventure builds your character, and gives you self confidence.
The first person to walk on the moon had an adventure. He blasted off from Cape Canaveral into space and landed on the moon.
Adventuring always were a way to fill my cheerful days, but now it helps my long for life in new ways. Its like I can find myself, without finding myself at all. I know how insane that sounds, but its true. Adventuring provides clarity you didn't expect, and it gives you an unexpected confidence.
For the longest time I've wondered how people became confident in themselves. They were courageous, had self assurance and believed in themselves to accomplish anything they set their minds to.
“If you try and fail, you're still one step further ahead then if you never tried at all..”
Adventure, is a part of my life and a big contributor to who I am today. Adventuring, especially traveling has helped me clear my mind, change my perspective and experience diverse cultures. Anyone can adventure but it takes a special person to backpack long-term
Packing my bags and heading out of town have always been something to look forward to since I was a kid. I don't think it's just some kind of innate wanderlust in us all – I think we need it. There's a certain satisfaction that comes from looking at the world wide-eyed for once, instead of through the foggy windows of your daily life.

Adventuring is just a word. For some it might mean trekking through the mountains, or scuba diving to the deepest parts of the ocean. For me, it means living my life with an open mind. Every new place I visit, every new experience I embrace- that's my adventure.
